Basketball Game Preview: Fort Vancouver Trappers vs. King's Way Christian Knights

The Fort Vancouver Trappers are taking a road trip to face off against the King's Way Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fort Vancouver has struggled recently with 16 defeats in a row, while King's Way Christian will arrive with five straight wins.

Last Thursday, Fort Vancouver took a blow against Columbia, falling 61-16. While losing is never fun, the Trappers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Bruins are ranked 177th).

Meanwhile, King's Way Christian didn't have too much trouble with La Center on Thursday as they won 40-23.

King's Way Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Fort Vancouver, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Fort Vancouver was taken down by King's Way Christian 63-26 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Fort Vancouver avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
