Soccer Recap: Williston Find Success

While Williston's victory against Eastside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rams 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Williston were the better team in the second half.

Madelyn Marino and Julia Murphy scored both of Williston's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Williston's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Williston will venture away from home to take on Suwannee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastside, they will head out to challenge Trinity Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
