Baseball Recap: Camp Point Central Comes Up Short

Camp Point Central fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Seymour on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 8-7. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Colton Cooley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Camp Point Central's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-14 when he doesn't).
