Softball Recap: Romeoville Triumphs

Romeoville pushed their score to 19 the last time they played Reavis, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. Romeoville never let Reavis get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since April 20, 2024.

Not much got past Lillian Roberts, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Reavis off the board. With that strong performance, Roberts is now averaging an impressive 6 strikeouts per game.

Romeoville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Reavis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
