Basketball Recap: Sickles Gryphons vs. East Lake Eagles
Sickles and East Lake squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Sickles had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the East Lake Eagles. The Gryphons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 75-64.

Despite the loss, Sickles still got an impressive performance from Ian Kyler, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 19 points along with five boards and three steals. That's the most points Kyler has posted since back in December of 2024. Chase Weismiller was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.
