Fillmore has gone a perfect 10-0 against Carpinteria recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Flashes will take on the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Carpinteria took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fillmore, who comes in off a win.

Fillmore took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Hueneme by a score of 7-3.

Azaria Aguilar made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Aguilar was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Yesenia Hinojosa, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Arianna Halcon was another key player, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Fillmore lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Carpinteria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Nordhoff, falling 19-12. Even if the Warriors couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Fillmore's record now sits at 9-11. As for Carpinteria, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything went Fillmore's way against Carpinteria when the teams last played on April 14th, as Fillmore made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flashes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
