The Rocklin Thunder will venture away from home to challenge the Foothill Falcons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Rocklin 3.2, Foothill 0.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Troy Ueltzen put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those hits were his first of the season.

In other batting news, Colby Pudge made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Ahren Verma also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Foothill put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Washington as Foothill made off with a 9-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly seven runs.

Ryan Cooney looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Foothill got a massive performance out of Tanner Tarpley, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Hudson Flora, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Foothill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matches.

Foothill pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Rocklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
