Soccer Game Preview: Guyer vs. Clear Springs

The Guyer Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Clear Springs Chargers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Guyer will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Guyer is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Austin with a sharp 5-2 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly three goals.

They hit Austin with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Camila Mujica (2), McKynzi Hailey, Natalya Carnell, and Keira Floyd.

Meanwhile, Clear Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Frenship by a score of 1-0.

Guyer's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Clear Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Guyer beat Clear Springs 3-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Will Guyer repeat their success, or does Clear Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
