Trousdale County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Macon County Tigers 3-2. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers on Tuesday, too.

Trousdale County took Macon County into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-11, 18-25, 18-25, 25-14, 15-8.

Macon County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jazzlyn Centers, who had ten digs.

Trousdale County will face off against Gordonsville at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Macon County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against White House-Heritage on the 21st.
