Football Game Preview: Walthill vs. Spalding Academy

Spalding Academy will challenge Walthill on the road at 2:00 PM on Friday. Walthill will need to watch out since Spalding Academy have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Spalding Academy simply couldn't be stopped last Thursday, as they easily beat St. Edward 79-32. No one put up better numbers for Spalding Academy than senior Colton Leslie, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 91 yards on the ground and accumulated 189 passing yards. Leslie has been a consistent playmaker for Spalding Academy as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against Santee two weeks ago, Walthill came back down to earth. Walthill fell to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 37-51.

Spalding Academy's win lifted them to 3-2 while Walthill's defeat dropped them down to 3-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Walthill and Spalding Academy will really light up the scoreboard.
