St. Paul's Prep had been on a five-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Heritage Christian Academy put an end to it on Tuesday. St. Paul's Prep fell just short of Heritage Christian Academy by a score of 3-2. St. Paul's Prep's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Harvest Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 26-0 win. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by eight runs or more this season.
Elijah Mann made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Mann was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Harvest Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jase French, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That's the most RBI French has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Mann, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.
Harvest Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dallas Academy only posted an OBP of .286.
Harvest Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for St. Paul's Prep, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
