Basketball Game Preview: Auburn Eagles vs. Grayson County Blue Devils

The Auburn Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Grayson County Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Auburn was beaten by George Wythe 79-48. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Maroons: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Grayson County strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Chilhowie by a score of 54-47.

Grayson County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Auburn, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Auburn came up short against Grayson County in their previous matchup back in February, falling 61-51. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
