Volleyball Recap: West Hall Spartans vs. Franklin County Lions
West Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Franklin County Lions. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2020.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-5.
West Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Franklin County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-15 record.
West Hall will square off against Rabun County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but likely not for long. As for Franklin County, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Hebron Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Franklin County surely won't give up without a fight.
