Trinity Christian Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 50-6 loss at the hands of Matanzas. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-3.

Meanwhile, City of Life Christian Academy played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Altamonte Christian 63-31. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Eagles are ranked 136th).

Despite the loss, City of Life Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoe Witt posted 14 points and five steals.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for City of Life Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4.
