Basketball Recap: Yavneh Academy Bulldogs vs. DasCHE Spartans
After flying high against Highlands last Monday, Yavneh Academy came back down to earth. The Yavneh Academy Bulldogs took a 76-58 bruising from the DasCHE Spartans on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were down 61-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

When it comes to explaining why Yavneh Academy lost, don't look at Darren Sacher. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-17 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. Sacher's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Brendy Eber was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight assists and five boards.
Leading DasCHE to victory were Amaree Saffold and Moses Obudo. Saffold went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 20 points, while Obudo went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
