Washington had lost four straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-19 to make it five. They lost 11-1 to the Princeton Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hatchets of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will challenge North Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Princeton, they will square off against Evansville Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
