Volleyball Recap: Urban Takes a Loss

Urban and San Leandro squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Urban had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Pirates. The Blues have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Urban ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Leading San Leandro to victory were Eric Stowe and Avery Stone. Stowe had 21 digs and one assist, while Stone had 19 kills, 13 digs, and three blocks. That's the most blocks Stone has posted since back in March.

Urban's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for San Leandro, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.

Urban does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Leandro, they will welcome American Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
