Recap: Rolla Pirates vs. Minneola Wildcats
The Rolla Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Minneola on the road and fell 53-19. Rolla lost against Minneola in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-11 score last time.
Minneola got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Lang out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Levi Lang, who scored 16 points.
Rolla's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Minneola, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Rolla will face off against Deerfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Deerfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday. As for Minneola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Gray at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
