Basketball Recap: Palma Comes Up Short

Palma was the 51-46 winner over Monterey when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Palma Chieftains took a 72-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monterey Dores. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (61), the Chieftains still had to take the loss.

Palma's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Monterey, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Palma nor Monterey have any future games scheduled.
