Football Recap: Corn Bible Academy Takes a Loss

Corn Bible Academy lost against Mountain View-Gotebo back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders had to suffer through a 54-6 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.

Corn Bible Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Corn Bible Academy will square off against rival Grandfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain View-Gotebo is set to challenge their familiar foe Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 13, the Cowboys 13) so any points scored will be well earned.
