Baseball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington couldn't beat Riverside Prep on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Bruins took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Knights.

Isaac Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Navarro, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Riverside Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riverside Prep beat Bloomington by a score of 8-1 later that day.
