Knob Noster waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Willard Tigers out 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Knob Noster got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 11-25, 25-20.

Ashlyn Hurd and Ava Simpson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hurd had three digs and two aces, while Simpson had six digs. Hurd is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last four games she's played.

Knob Noster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11-3 record this season. As for Willard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16-1.
