Baseball Preview: Borger Bulldogs vs. Randall Raiders
Borger hasn't had much luck against Randall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Borger turned things around against Perryton on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Lincoln Buchanan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Tony Phillips was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
