Manor barely beat Booker T. Washington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Manor blew past Booker T. Washington 20-3 on Friday. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Will Herndon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Herndon was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Henry Newburn was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season. Ethan McCrickard was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Manor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .774. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Lakeland had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The contest marked the Cavaliers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Lakeland's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Manor, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Manor might still be hurting after the 17-4 defeat they got from Lakeland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Manor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
