Softball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington and Oak Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Burlington had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 6-0. The Demons have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Oak Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6.

Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Creek, they will take on Kenosha Bradford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Devils' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
