Basketball Recap: Royal Skates Past Simi Valley with Ease

Royal hadn't done well against Simi Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Royal Highlanders claimed a resounding 70-43 win over the Simi Valley Pioneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

Despite the loss, Simi Valley still got an impressive performance from Trevor Hiscocks, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josiah Dale, who scored eight points.

Royal pushed their record up to 14-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Simi Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
