Soccer Game Preview: Buhler vs. South

The Buhler Crusaders will square off against the South Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Buhler and McPherson, and McPherson kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders fell just short of the Bullpups by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, South's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand West a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for South, who have now won five contests by five goals or more so far this season.

They hit West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marin Morris (3), Brooklyn Jordan, and Angela On.

The win made it two in a row for South and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two games. As for Buhler, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
