Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Mt. Pleasant Vikings came up short against the West Mifflin Titans and fell 6-2. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Mt. Pleasant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Kitz, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Mt. Pleasant now has a losing record of 0-1-2.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will take on North Penn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mt. Pleasant's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Saturday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around. As for West Mifflin, they will square off against Charlotte Country Day School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Charlotte Country Day School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
