Watertown put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the DeKalb County Tigers with a sharp 13-7 win. The Purple Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Watertown's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for DeKalb County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watertown will square off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Smith County will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Watertown surely won't give up without a fight. As for DeKalb County, they will host Watertown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
