Basketball Recap: Dodge City Takes a Loss

Dodge City was the 76-30 winner over Lakin when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Dodge City Demons fell 38-31 to the Lakin Broncs on Friday. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dodge City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lakin, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

After both having extra time off, Dodge City and Woodward will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Lakin, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
