Volleyball Game Preview: Jerome Tigers vs. Burley Bobcats + How To Watch

Jerome hasn't had much luck against Burley recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will challenge the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Jerome and Twin Falls have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Bruins.

While Jerome was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Twin Falls' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Burley and Wood River had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

Jerome's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Burley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Jerome beat Burley 3-1 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
