Basketball Recap: Chisholm Trail Academy Takes a Loss

Chisholm Trail Academy lost against Yavneh Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs. The contest marked the Blazers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Lilly Yalovsky, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards for Yavneh Academy. The game was Yalovsky's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Talya Tsaroya, who posted seven points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Chisholm Trail Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Yavneh Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Highlands the next time they take the court. Yavneh Academy will host Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Chisholm Trail Academy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th.
