Hickory has gone a perfect 4-0 against Salem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hawks will welcome the Sundevils at 7:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Hickory and Kempsville settled for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Salem's offense. They came up short against Maury on Monday, falling 4-0. Salem have struggled against Maury recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Hickory's draw makes their record 1-2-2 this season. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Hickory beat Salem by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Sundevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
