Basketball Game Preview: Big Bear Bears vs. Valley Torah Wolfpack

The Big Bear Bears will take on the Valley Torah Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Bear knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Valley Torah likes a good challenge.

Aiden Brewer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 22 games he's played. Ryder Dolan was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 12 boards.

Big Bear smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Valley Torah beat Santa Rosa Academy 66-60 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolfpack.

Big Bear is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Valley Torah, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.
