University of Florida recruit Brittany Harrell from McComb(Miss.)won the Class 5A state high jump (5-6) for the sixth year, the 300-meter hurdles (45.72) and 100-meter hurdles (14.37), both for the fifth year. Her 100-meter hurdles time broke a 22-year-old state meet record. In the 300 hurdles, she fell, rolled over 5 times on the track, got back up and still won the title.
