Elijah Young posted a new career-high in passer rating on Friday. He threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for South Bend Washington: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Young and South Bend Washington will head out to face off against South Bend Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
