Soccer Game Preview: Belmont vs. Stevens

The Belmont Red Raiders will face off against the Stevens Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Belmont turned things around against Hillsboro-Deering on Friday. They walked away with a 6-4 win over the Hillcats. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Belmont's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Stevens kept a clean sheet against Monadnock on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Huskies. Considering Stevens have won 13 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Stevens' victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Belmont, their win bumped their record up to 2-13.
