Basketball Recap: Austin Classical Comes Up Short

Austin Classical fought the good fight in their overtime game against Waterloo on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Waterloo by a score of 65-63. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Waterloo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin Classical will host River City Believers Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterloo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gateway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
