Basketball Recap: FAU High's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

FAU High extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jarret Mauvais. The FAU High Owls breezed by the Village Academy Tigers to the tune of 88-20 on Friday thanks in part to Mauvais, who went 19 for 44 on his way to 50 points. The matchup was his 12th in a row with at least ten points.

FAU High's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for Village Academy, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the FAU High Owls face off against the Abundant Life Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. FAU High has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Village Academy, they will take on Sheridan Hills Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
