Baseball Recap: Browerville Takes a Loss

Browerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in April.

Browerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Browerville has already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Lake of the Woods on the 2nd. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they will challenge Upsala/Swanville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder are on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Patriots a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
