Yorkville lost to Oswego East back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Foxes had just enough and edged out the Wolves 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Foxes sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Yorkville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 27-25, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Oswego East lost, don't look at Nathan Thach. Despite the final result, he had 21 digs.

Yorkville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-21. As for Oswego East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.

Yorkville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oswego East, they will challenge Downers Grove South at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
