Valencia is 8-2 against Hart since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Valencia Vikings will head out to square off against the Hart Hawks at 3:15 p.m. Valencia's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Hart's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Valencia's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Thousand Oaks by a score of 5-0.

Not much got past Carly Kearns, who gave up just five hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Thousand Oaks off the board. Kearns has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Blair Rune, who fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two runs, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

Rune wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Valencia lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Hart not only won last Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024. They were the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over Burbank. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Sadie Curtis was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Bella Marquez, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Valencia's record now sits at 4-2. As for Hart, their record is now 2-3.

Valencia took their win against Hart in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2. Will Valencia repeat their success, or does Hart have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
