Fremont proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westview Warriors, sneaking past 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Fremont's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-5 victory against Eastside on the 3rd. As for Westview, they have also already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Jimtown on the 6th.
