Softball Recap: Southeastern Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Southeastern entered their tilt with Zane Trace on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 5-1. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly four runs.

Kylie Williams made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Southeastern let Ally Fisher and Dylan Skaggs run wild. Fisher went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Skaggs went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most runs Fisher has posted over her last 11 games. Elle Stewart also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Southeastern's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Zane Trace, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
