Football Recap: Bloomfield Hills Comes Up Short

Bloomfield Hills had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it six. They were outmatched by the North Farmington Raiders and fell 42-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Black Hawks of the 49-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Rocco Colosimo threw for 116 yards and one TD.

As for North Farmington, the win got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of North Farmington's victory came down to the chemistry between Elijah Cobb and his top target Lelend Hollingsworth. Cobb rushed for 73 yards and one score on only seven carries while Hollingsworth gained 61 total yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield Hills will take on Pontiac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Farmington, they will be playing at home against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Red Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
