Volleyball Recap: Cabool Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Cabool fell 2-0 to Notre Dame.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13.

Jayne Thompson paced Cabool's offense, picking up six kills. Thompson got some help from Cambree Woodard and her ten assists.

Cabool has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they pushed their record up to 7-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Cabool has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Saxony Lutheran on the 13th. As for Notre Dame, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Hillsboro on the 13th.
