Stockton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the East Newton Patriots.

Stockton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for East Newton, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-13-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stockton will face off against Skyline at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Stockton is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for East Newton, they will head out to square off against Nevada at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
