Cheraw won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Braves put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp  17-6 victory. Considering the Braves have won 13 contests by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Tyler Gordon looked comfortable as he  pitched 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Terrence Blackmon was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kaden Johnson, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Cheraw  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in seven consecutive  matchups.
Cheraw has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Woodland,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-15.
As of now, neither Cheraw nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
