Football Recap: Hamilton Huskies vs. Marana Tigers        
        
		
             Hamilton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with  a   31-22  victory over the Marana Tigers  on Friday. Hamilton's win was all the more impressive since the Tigers were averaging only 14.55 points allowed on the season.
  Jacob Brown was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 205 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was  Rich Lucero Jr., who threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.
 Hamilton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 222  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 196  rushing yards in three consecutive  matches.
 Despite the loss, Marana still got an impressive performance from   Colten Meyer, who threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave  Meyer a new career-high in  rushing yards (11).  Sean Roebuck also helped out as he racked up 101 receiving yards.
 Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Marana,  with the  defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-1.
 Hamilton will head out to  take on Liberty  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last ten contests. Marana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
