Baseball Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

Olympic was the 8-1 winner over Shelton when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highclimbers on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olympic's record now sits at 9-9. As for Shelton, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Olympic will welcome Silas at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Shelton, they will head out to take on Black Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.6 runs per game on average), something the Highclimbers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
